dtgo (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 37 Karma: 0   MSN LIVE PROBLEMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! by dtgo 1 Year, 1 Month ago ok where to start , u kno that msn live asks that it syncs wit ya contacts right , i did that once and nuh watch nuh face , but apparently there was some conflict with outlook so i backed up ma contacts , then delete all the contacts , the outlook delete all ma contacts from the MDA (wm device) but thats not the problem apperntly , when i sign in wit msn messgenger to see who is on line ,, alll a mi contacts gone to R***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its not funny ,, i think i have a plan on getting them back but to restore all 600 contacts in ma msn list is not a funny joke or easy work , to r*** if i device ma plan and it works ill share with you The administrator has disabled public write access. | Report to moderator   Logged   cyberpunk (Admin) Admin Posts: 307 Karma: 0   Re:MSN LIVE PROBLEMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! by cyberpunk 1 Year, 1 Month ago Odd. HOw the sync generally works / supposed to work is the intial sync only happens downstream from msn servers to wm device. Afther this the sync will happen on a full duplex basis where any change made to your device contacts will affect your msn contacts and vice versa. When I logged in I saw no contacts, It seems to be a bug or summen with it. I asked a coworker to talk to me and i got it, but i saw their email address with the message and not the username. I signed out then back in and all contacts were there. I then signed in from a Pc and all my contacts were there. The stupid thing about it though is that it creates a contact for all the people on ur msn list in ur Contacts on the phone which can be annoying but ahh well, small price to pay. I also uploaded the CAB file in the download section. I sync everything including calendar, contacts, emails. my contacts include all members of staff within my organisation. When I sign into windows live it warns me that it will copy all msn contacts to my contact list. This then syncs and merges it with my contacts on my exchange server which is rather annoying and bloats my Contacts on my device.
