If your thinking about getting a pocket computing device I would advise you stick to the windows mobile platform and stay away from palm.. Windows mobile is smarter. .. um. Ipaq's are good devices. But why not go for a hybrid like a windows mobile cellphone with 100% equal pda functionality as any full fledged dedicated pocket pc would deliver?

However if your dead serious about getting a dedicated pocket pc with no telephony feaures the hp ipaq rx1950 isn't a bad choice.

1. it uses fairly cheap storage media (sd about 1k for a gig at most local stores).
2. it has a 300mhz processor which is fairly fast.. way more than i have in my smartphone
3. has built in wifi
4. Gives Great battery life
5. Not horridly priced
6. its pocket pc (had to mention this)

The con though is

1. no bluetooth
2. wifi is 802.11 b (low range an data transfer speed)
3. and low onboard memory

HOpe i helped in some way.

regards
