I"m buying a new hd for my notebook. When i redo my ubuntubook witht he 60 gig hd. I plan to attempt.

I installed it and all, looks nice, have a couple nice features as well, unfortunately however I can't get the cube thing to work, still trying to fix it

When compiz-fusion came out i never even knew about it. I thought it was still Beryl. I tried it out gain... it's nice and pretty,faster IMHO then beryl. Once again though after using it for like 15mins I turned it off an went back to basics.

I see nice things coming about from this though.

like what though.. the composite desktop can't get any better really. the functional / efficient part of it is just the cube and the desklet view in my oppnion. everything else is just fanciness with out a cause

I've been using this and its kinda like that, fanciness without a cause, but wen u idle u can find use for the fanciness
